Event Description: |
|
The American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure is the premier fundraising event for the organization. Tour de Cure is a bike ride, not a race, that helps raise awareness and funding for our mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. The Tour de Cure begins and ends at the Charles Schwab Corp. Office and will offer 3 different routes, so that individuals can choose the route that is appropriate for them. Cyclists will follow the rules of the road and will be supported with rest stops managed by volunteers. As a safety measure, we will have SAG (support and gear) vehicles on each route to sweep for cyclists and provide mechanical assistance as needed. |
