Event Description: |

Rock Canyon High School Homecoming Parade from Redstone Elementary to Rock Canyon High School. Floats will begin staging at 4:00 pm at Redstone. The route will be the same as in previous years.
Operations Plan:
- Rock Canyon High School Homecoming Parade – Thursday, September 19th, 2024
- Parking available at Rock Canyon High School
- Emergency Medical Services: Douglas County Sherriff Department will lead and direct the parade and will control traffic.
- Sanitary facilities: Available at Rock Canyon High School
- Communication: Neighborhood residents will be informed of the parade at least one week prior to the event with fliers and signs.
- Public Safety Issues: Douglas County Sheriff will be present to lead and direct the parade and control traffic. They are also available for all Safety issues.
- Public Notification Plan: Fliers will be delivered to all houses along the route one week prior.
- Signs will be posted along the route 5-7 days prior.
- Rock Canyon High School Website and Social Media will communicate the event.
- Advertisements will target the community. |
