This application allows contractors and homeowners to obtain ‘Basic’ Residential Mechanical Permit(s).
A 'BASIC' Residential Mechanical permit is defined for this application as:

A permit for a residential property in unincorporated Douglas County.

Replacement work that does not require a plan review or any additional documentation for the permit application, for example a furnace, water heater or air conditioner.
If the Mechanical application does not meet the above criteria, you will need to apply for your permit by faxing, mailing or coming into our office with a
