Attention!

If B-vent flue caps for furnace and water heater vent terminations are replaced as part of the re-roofing process with universal style caps, they shall be properly installed and secured to the vent with 3 equally spaced sheet metal self-tapping screws. Failure to do so will result in inspection disapproval.

This application allows contractors and homeowners to obtain ‘Basic’ Roofing Permit(s).

    A 'BASIC' roofing permit is defined for this application as:

• A permit for a residential property in unincorporated Douglas County.

• The existing roof type is Composition/Asphalt or Masonite product.

• The replacement roof type is Composition/Asphalt.
