New Passport Requirements Effective June 1, 2009
Beginning on June 1, 2009 citizens traveling to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and The Caribbean Region will be required to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document to re-enter the United States. The Recording Office at 301 Wilcox St. in Castle Rock accepts passport applications between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. As part of our effort to provide diverse government services, we will also offer passport photo services during these same business hours. Our office can provide pictures for $8.00. Allow at least four weeks for the U.S. Department of State to process the application.
